Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Product Program Manager (Remote, US) to lead cross-functional teams delivering complex technical programs on time and within budget.

The TPM will partner with engineering, product management, and other stakeholders to align project goals with business objectives, drive process improvements, and manage budgets while guiding teams through the full lifecycle from concept to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years as Technical Program Manager or similar in a technology-driven environment.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, systems engineering, or related fields.
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and budget.
• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, Kanban and related methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple technical programs and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, risks, and milestones.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and other cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues, and ensure successful outcomes.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders, including senior management.
• Foster cross-team collaboration and transparency.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes.
• Manage budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
• Foster knowledge sharing across teams.
