GDIT is seeking a Technical Program / Delivery Leader to oversee delivery for a USPS‑related application team. You will coordinate engineers, architects, and environment leads, ensuring alignment of priorities, schedules, and tooling through USPS channels.

The role emphasizes influence over direct management, with a focus on planning, governance, and rapid decision‑making across security, environments, and operations. Remote work with U.S. residency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus 8+ years in technology delivery.
• Experience translating complex needs into epics/features and executable plans.
• Understanding of AI/ML governance and use of approved AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end delivery leadership coordinating USPS and vendor resources without direct supervision.
• Translate objectives into scope, milestones, and deliverable commitments with USPS leadership.
• Lead cross-functional planning across integrations, environments, security, and releases.
• Provide consistent status reporting including risks, decisions, and dependencies.
• Coordinate priorities and capacity to maintain steady delivery flow.
• Support ROM estimates and document assumptions, constraints, and risks.
• Partner with USPS leadership to support funding/approval activities.
• Coordinate release/deployment readiness and post-release stabilization.
• Support production operations and incident response coordination.
• Identify required software, hardware, tooling and define technical requirements.
