Job summary

LMI Government Consulting is seeking a collaborative Product Owner to lead a portfolio of data and platform capabilities for a federal healthcare client. You will define the product vision, manage the backlog, and partner with DevSecOps, cloud, and data teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

The role supports a hybrid/remote work arrangement, with emphasis on strong stakeholder collaboration, security compliance, and measurable value delivery across government programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years in product ownership or technical roles with requirements, prioritization, or solution design.
• Experience with infrastructure, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), or data pipelines in production.
• Strong agile experience (Scrum/Kanban) and Jira proficiency.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of healthcare data privacy and security requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for infrastructure and data platform capabilities for a government healthcare client.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing tech debt, reliability, security, and performance with user-facing features.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps, cloud engineers, data engineers, and data scientists to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Engage with business owners and end users to gather feedback and ensure measurable value.
