Job summary

CertiPath is seeking a Technical Product Owner to partner with Product Management and lead a team of developers and QA analysts in delivering secure software for our clients. You will own the product lifecycle from release planning through delivery, review code, and drive backlog prioritization using value-over-cost analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent hands-on software development experience.
• 6+ years of experience as a Product Owner.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience, or demonstrated ability to read and review production code.
• Experience with Atlassian Agile products; specifically, JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience leading distributed development teams across multiple U.S. time zones.
• Working proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem to review PRs and provide feedback.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows (pull requests, branching, CI/CD).
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants or LLM-based tools in development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Management to shape the roadmap and lead a team of developers and QA analysts.
• Review code, evaluate design tradeoffs, and prioritize backlog based on value-over-cost.
• Lead sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives; manage Jira backlog; triage tickets.
• Present feature demos to stakeholders and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Ensure security and quality through code reviews and architecture discussions.
