Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Technical Project Manager / Qualifying Agent to oversee electronic security and low-voltage projects. This remote role manages nationwide programs with about two trips per month and targets a $75k-$85k salary, plus benefits and licensing support.

The candidate will lead multi-site projects, coordinate technicians, and drive technical excellence from kickoff to closeout while pursuing state licenses as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electronic security, low-voltage integration, installation, service, commissioning, field supervision, or technical security project management.
• Strong technical background in access control, CCTV, intrusion, cabling, networking, power distribution, battery backup.
• Experience leading field technicians through complex installations and troubleshooting remotely or on-site.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, wiring schematics, risers, one-lines, device layouts and network diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Manage 40–50 concurrent electronic security projects and $1.5M–$2.5M annual invoicing from turnover to closeout.
• Own assigned customer accounts and serve as primary contact for planning, status, escalations, and issues.
• Lead kickoff meetings and coordinate customers, technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Manage schedules, labor plans, material requirements, budgets, milestones, and scope changes.
• Provide technical leadership during installation, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
