Job summary

Winrock International is seeking a Technical Lead for Sustainability Services (Regenerative Agriculture and Climate). The role is fully remote for U.S. residents, with EST/CT working hours, and a duration through March 2027.

You will advise clients in decarbonization, monitor GHG standards, and guide sustainability projects in the FLAG sector. The candidate should have 6+ years of experience, deep knowledge of GHG protocols and SBTi standards, and strong communication abilities to engage diverse

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing technical aspects of greenhouse gas accounting in agriculture.
• Field or research experience with SOC and land use models; GHG profiles and mitigation strategies.
• Experience with corporate sustainability standards (GHG Protocol, SBTi, TCAT, SAI Platform).
• Strong communication and client-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support client interactions, present updates, and conduct research.
• Track and manage technical advisory requests on carbon accounting and decarbonization.
• Prepare client-facing presentations, reports, and memos.
• Work in fast-paced environments to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Conduct desk research on climate mitigation standards for agriculture.
• Support proposal development and workplans.
