BriteCap Financial is seeking a Technical Lead, Platform to guide the design, development, and evolution of our backend services. You will lead a team building Python-based platforms, APIs, and microservices, driving architecture decisions and production-grade delivery.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on Python expertise with strong leadership and a product-driven mindset, capable of translating business needs into scalable technical solutions while ensuring reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years backend Python experience with a focus on scalable APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS and database modeling/SQL optimization.
• Leadership experience and a track record mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and design of Python-based backend services and APIs.
• Lead engineers building high-performance backend services in Python.
• Ensure scalable, maintainable Python code in production.
• Partner with Product, Operations, and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Drive observability, monitoring, and system reliability.
• Design and evolve Python-based microservices architecture.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Django, Flask, FastAPI.
• Mentor engineers in Python development and system design.
• Elevate engineering standards and backend quality.
• Foster ownership and product-driven engineering mindset.
