Zusammenfassung

FoodChain ID, Inc. is seeking a Handling Scope Technical Evaluator to support our organic certification program. This remote position evaluates certification applications, organic system plans, and compliance documentation to ensure USDA NOP standards are met.

Experience reviewing Natural Flavors and complex handling operations is desirable; you will communicate findings to clients and collaborate with internal teams on certification issues.

Qualifikationen

• 2–4 years of certification or related regulatory experience.
• Understanding of organic certification standards and review processes.
• Able to manage complex files independently.
• Knowledge of USDA organic standards and handling techniques.
• Excellent communication on the phone and in writing.
• Computer-literate with Microsoft Office tools.

Aufgaben

• Perform reviews of applications, organic system plans, and supporting documentation.
• Contact clients to communicate findings, review noncompliances, and resolve issues.
• Provide advanced technical support and assist colleagues with complex topics.
• Maintain recordkeeping systems in line with procedures and accreditation.
• Review and approve site additions, seed/planting stock compliance, product formulations, labels, and inputs.
• Conduct reviews and desk audits, issuing findings to clients.
• Support new business development through program and documentation improvements.
• Participate in training, ACA discussions, and group activities.
