Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) client. The role is remote and requires the ability to obtain an IRS MBI clearance (Moderate Risk clearance a plus).

You will gather and document requirements, coordinate with distributed teams, and produce governance outputs and executive briefings. Responsibilities include leading requirements analysis, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with IRS security policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum seven (7) years of working experience in a project management capacity.
• Knowledge of federal information security policies, standards, procedures, directives, and risk management processes.
• Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and engage with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct analysis, validate requirements, produce proofs of concept and other outputs.
• Provide governance support and reporting activities including data calls, task tracking, and status communications.
• Create, update, and manage high-quality project documentation meeting IRS acceptance criteria.
• Develop briefings, presentations, and reports for stakeholder groups and executives.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to track performance activities.
