Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Technical Writer to produce clear, compliant documentation for backend systems and mobile apps. The writer will collaborate with technical teams to define document requirements and create content covering software architecture and data solutions in a regulated environment.

18-month contract-to-hire role with work aligning to Pacific Time. W2 benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, and life insurance; rate is $30.00 to $36.00/hr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience writing technical software and system documentation in regulated environments.
• Ability to translate complex tech concepts into clear text and visuals.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe tools (Acrobat, FrameMaker, Illustrator).

Responsibilities

• Partner with technical teams to define documentation needs and deliver technical content.
• Create, edit, and maintain docs for backend components and mobile apps.
• Prepare documents for Quality Management System compliance in regulated settings.
• Standardize writing processes, procedures, and style guidelines.
