Job summary

Coforge is seeking an experienced Tech Lead Python to design, develop, and support scalable backend systems while guiding a team of Python developers. You will drive technical direction, ensure code quality, and collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA to deliver robust RESTful services, APIs, and microservices across cloud deployments in a remote, globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a technical team.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient in Python 3.x development.
• Experience building APIs and integrations.
• RESTful services with JSON payloads.
• Exposure to SOAP/XML based services.
• Hands-on with Django/Flask/FastAPI.
• Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases.
• Solid Linux knowledge.
• Git and CI/CD pipelines experience.
• Familiarity with AI-code assistant tools to improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to a globally distributed team.
• Coordinate activities and report progress to clients' stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based backends.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.
• Implement microservices-based architectures.
• Integrate systems using event-driven frameworks (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
