Job summary

Willis Towers Watson in New Jersey seeks a Senior Technology Risk & Assurance leader to govern regulatory policy, controls, and engagement with regulators. You will drive policy development, control effectiveness, and regulatory readiness across the firm, partnering with CIO, CISO, and risk teams to harmonize risk management.

The role offers high visibility, global regulatory exposure, and a chance to redesign operating models for cross‑pillar collaboration.

Qualifications

• Deep regulatory relationships with major regulators (Fed, SEC, NYDFS, FCA) and equivalents across jurisdictions.
• Global experience managing multiple regulatory and audit relationships.
• Proven ability to own and evolve a control framework and write defensible policy.
• Familiarity with DORA and EU regulatory landscape.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity regulatory regimes (e.g., NYDFS, HIPAA) and their governance implications.

Responsibilities

• Own technology and cybersecurity risk policy architecture, lifecycle and standards.
• Define and maintain control taxonomy, framework, and testing alignment with regulators.
• Lead exception management and escalation for aging or high-risk deviations.
• Engage regulators as primary interface for exams and regulatory activities globally.
• Govern regulatory findings, commitments, and remediation with clear ownership and evidence.
• Shape operating model for regulatory obligations with defined roles and escalation paths.
• Collaborate across Technology Governance & Regulatory Strategy, Controls Assurance, and Risk Operations & Advisory.
