RES Consultant Group is seeking a high-level Tax Supervisor for a fully remote, nationwide accounting firm focused on proactive tax advisory for real estate clients. This role offers the opportunity to move beyond compliance and shape client strategy throughout the year.

You will lead complex tax work, mentor staff, and contribute to a scalable advisory framework within a growth-minded firm that emphasizes strategy, relationships, and measurable client impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public accounting tax experience with a solid technical foundation in tax return preparation/review.
• Active CPA or EA designation is required.
• Strong working knowledge of pass-through taxation and real estate taxation.
• Comfortable participating in client-facing strategic conversations with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategy: implement advanced techniques in real estate taxation and related planning.
• Drive compliance: review and prepare complex returns (individual, partnership, S corp).
• Support advisory: participate in client planning kickoffs and quarterly advisory meetings.
