Job summary

Jobot, located in Sacramento, CA, is a growing, full-spectrum firm specializing in complex business tax and serving world-class clients. This fully remote role lets you manage multiple complex engagements and review returns for partnerships and S-Corporations, while delivering proactive tax planning.

The ideal candidate has a CPA or is pursuing licensure, a Master’s in Accounting/Taxation preferred, and proficiency with CCH.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of progressive tax compliance experience in public accounting, ideally in a Big 4 firm.
• A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or on the path towards obtaining a license.
• Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation is preferred.
• Proficiency in CCH or other tax software.
• Extensive experience in dealing with complex passthrough entities and their associate high net worth owners.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements and client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex tax matters to non-tax professionals.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple and complex tax engagements, ensuring the delivery of quality tax solutions for our clients.
• Review federal and state returns for partnerships and S-Corporations and their owners.
• Utilize your knowledge of CCH to research and consult on various tax matters, respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries when requested.
• Provide proactive tax planning strategies tailored to the needs of our clients.
• Demonstrate excellent team skills, positive attitude, and high ethical standards.
