Job summary

CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking a Tax Manager for a 100% fully remote role in the United States. You will lead tax compliance, advisory services, and strategic planning for a diverse client portfolio, with high-visibility leadership and zero commuting.

Responsibilities include managing complex federal/state returns across multiple entity types, developing proactive tax strategies, and mentoring a team. A CPA and 5+ years of tax experience are required; CCH Axcess expertise is essential.

Qualifications

• CPA licensed required.
• 5+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience.
• Hands-on experience with CCH Axcess (required).
• Strong knowledge of US federal and state tax codes (1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's in Taxation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end preparation, review, and filing of federal and state returns for individuals, fiduciaries, partnerships, S-corps, and corporations.
• Lead strategic tax planning engagements and provide guidance on corporate structures and wealth strategies.
• Administer CCH Axcess for return prep, workflow, and quality control.
• Coach and supervise tax professionals; conduct training and performance reviews.
• Manage client relationships, IRS/state examinations, and tax notices; perform regulatory research.
• Collaborate across service lines to deliver holistic client solutions and manage engagement budgets.
