Levelociti is seeking a remote Tax Manager to lead a client book for a growth-stage advisory CPA firm. This fully remote role offers no billable hour targets, substantial autonomy, and the chance to shape client outcomes with strategic tax planning.

You will guide engagements from first discussion to final deliverable, review returns (1040, 1120, 1120-S, 1065), and map tax strategies across industries. Must be U.S.-based with an active CPA or EA license.

Qualifications

• Active CPA or EA license in the U.S.
• 5-7+ years of public accounting and tax experience.
• U.S.-based with ability to work remotely.
• Experience reviewing returns (1040, 1120, 1120-S, 1065).

Responsibilities

• Lead advisor for a portfolio of clients from initial conversation to final deliverable.
• Review individual and business returns across industries.
• Meet clients regularly to map out tax strategies.
• Coordinate workload of a small team to meet deadlines.
