Gursey | Schneider LLP is seeking a Tax Manager to lead complex individual and business tax engagements. You will supervise staff, review returns for high-net-worth clients, partnerships, and estates, and work closely with partners on client management and planning.

The role supports remote or hybrid work arrangements in the Los Angeles area, with a strong emphasis on mentoring and technical excellence in tax compliance and strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting experience.
• 2-4+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Broad understanding of Tax Law with specialized knowledge in partnerships, HNW individuals, corporations, pass-through taxation, estates and gifts, investment advisory, and/or financial planning.
• Ability to prepare working trial balance and year-end adjusting entries.

Responsibilities

• Review high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, gift and estate returns, trust preparations, joint ventures, noncorporate entity tax returns, and state returns.
• Review very complex individual tax returns.
• Manage and develop income tax and financial planning clients.
• Collaborate with tax partners and staff on client management and business development.
• Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and deadlines.
