Gursey | Schneider LLP in the Los Angeles area is seeking an Experienced Tax Associate to join our Tax Department. Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of public accounting tax experience, a solid educational background, and a strong interest in pursuing a public accounting and tax career.

Qualificações

• 2-3 years of public accounting and tax-related experience.
• Ability to prepare a working trial balance and year-end adjusting entries.
• Broad understanding of tax law with areas such as individual and corporate taxation, pass-through entities, estates, and trusts.
• Experience preparing tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and trusts; nonprofit experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare multi-state and federal income tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, LLCs, estates, and trusts.
• Support senior staff with year-end projections and quarterly estimates.
• Assist with new tax compliance approaches from reviews to analysis.
• Conduct thorough research and stay up to date with tax laws.
• Liaise with senior staff, managers, and clients, maintaining strong verbal and written presentation skills.
