Job summary

Res Consultant Group is seeking a Remote Tax Manager to lead tax engagements for a diverse client base, delivering advisory and compliance services with concierge-level service. You will work with rapidly growing businesses, entrepreneurs, and family offices, building trusted relationships and ensuring clients are positioned for financial success.

This role is fully remote within the United States, requires CPA or CPA candidate, 6+ years in public accounting, and strong client-facing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Tax.
• CPA or CPA candidate (required).
• 6+ years in public accounting.
• Experience in a client-facing role, communicating with business leaders via email, phone, and video calls.
• Tech-forward; ability to learn new software and comfortable using technology in general.
• Independent worker with the ability to coach and train associates.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality tax compliance and consulting services to a growing client base.
• Managing the preparation and delivery of quarterly tax projections and ad hoc client requests.
• Facilitating and managing the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns and the accurate, timely submission of all tax filings.
• Finding and implementing opportunities for process improvement in tax procedures.
• Delighting our customers with expert guidance and support.
• Available to work between the normal business day (ex. 9am to 5pm) to be responsive to client requests.
