DIRECTV is offering a 10-week remote Summer Intern position in Tax. You will help minimize operating taxes and support internal tax processes and software, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced finance team.

You will tackle projects on property tax drivers, tax legislation analyses, and Snowflake SQL reporting, while building data storytelling skills with Excel and Power BI. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are valued.

Formación

• Pursuing a 4-year undergraduate degree or advanced degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance.
• Passion for numbers and data with demonstrated experience in data analytics, visualization.
• Comfortable presenting and speaking with leaders.
• Highly proficient in Excel and PPT.
• SQL experience is a plus; Power BI experience is valued.
• Data storytelling and ability to synthesize insights from data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in virtual, cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Analytical work to understand drivers of California property tax values.
• Conduct deep financial analysis around pending tax legislation impacting customers and DIRECTV.
• SQL reporting from Snowflake.
