Qualified professionals bring 3+ years of paid experience with e-filed returns, knowledge of IRS Circular 230, and EA or CPA credentials. Strong communication and integrity are essential for client trust in a virtual setting.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of paid experience preparing federal and state individual income tax returns.
• Experience with e-filing processes and online tax software.
• Strong working knowledge of IRS Circular 230 and state tax regulations.
• Must be legally authorized to prepare and file taxes in applicable states.
• Access to a private, quiet workspace with a high‑speed internet connection.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, review, and e-file federal and state returns using online platforms.
• Interview clients using standardized forms to gather financial information.
• Review returns with clients via secure video/audio and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Manage tax documents, including Form 8879 and state equivalents.
• Follow workflows to ensure returns are prepared, reviewed, and filed timely.
• Provide expert tax advice in plain language and explain tax laws.
