Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking experienced CPAs and Tax Advisors for a remote, part-time contractor role focused on tax preparation, advisory, and AI evaluation. You will prepare and review tax returns, assess AI-generated tax content, and develop evaluation criteria to improve AI systems’ accuracy.

No prior AI experience is required, but strong tax expertise and clear communication are essential. This opportunity is remote and US-only, with flexible scheduling and ongoing collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license in good standing and U.S. practice eligibility.
• 5+ years of professional tax preparation or advisory experience.
• Strong experience with personal and small business tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Form 1040, Schedule C, 1120-S, and 1065 tax returns.
• Provide tax guidance and explain complex tax concepts clearly.
• Review AI-generated tax advice against defined rubrics and scoring criteria.
• Verify tax documentation, filing requirements, deadlines, and forms.
• Develop and refine tax-related evaluation rubrics and grading standards.
• Stay current with federal and applicable state tax laws.
