CoinFund is seeking an Expert Audio Transcriber to convert Tagalog recordings into precise, time-aligned transcripts. Work spans studio to real-world speech, with emphasis on dialects, slang, and code-switching.

You will follow Perle’s style guides, identify speakers and overlaps, and ensure quality through self-review and QA collaboration. Remote work with flexible weekly workload is supported.

Qualifications

• Native fluency in Tagalog with deep Philippines immersion or residence.
• Strong English proficiency to handle Taglish code-switching accurately.
• Mastery of Filipino orthography per guidelines.
• Familiarity with regional Tagalog accents and slang.
• At least 2 years of professional transcription experience.
• Experience in captioning, court reporting, broadcast, translation, or linguistic annotation.
• Good word-level accuracy under deadlines.
• Comfort with web-based annotation platforms and variable-speed playback tools.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio into accurate, time-aligned text following project guides.
• Apply conventions for speaker IDs, overlaps, disfluencies, and non-speech events.
• Make principled orthographic decisions for dialects and code-switching.
• Flag ambiguous segments and audio quality issues per conventions.
• Self-review submissions to Perle’s quality standards.
• Collaborate with QA for calibration, edge cases, and style updates.
