Job summary

Harvard University is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Harvard Training Portal team within the Center for Workplace Development. The role focuses on business analysis, data integration, configuration, testing, and related project activities for a large-scale administrative systems upgrade.

You will work on data preparation, system configuration, test development, and ongoing reporting to support operational needs. The position is mostly remote with campus time as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of information technology applications and processes.
• Experience administering or configuring Learning Management Systems (LMS) and cloud-based enterprise systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to evolving project needs.
• Experience developing, validating, and interpreting reports using enterprise software.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal staff and consultants on complex system upgrade efforts.
• Identify opportunities to enhance user experience during migration to the new system.
• Analyze, develop, and communicate technical solutions; modify procedures as needed.
• Balance needs of client groups with university-wide requirements and use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Support user acceptance testing by developing test scenarios and documenting defects.
