Job summary
Shermco Industries, Inc. is hiring a remote Systems Integration Sales Engineer to evaluate and estimate industrial electrical and automation projects, focusing on general systems integration.
You will specify PLC platforms, HMI hardware, and software for turnkey solutions—covering Engineering, Control Panels, Desktop HMI, Programming, Installation, and Commissioning. You will consult with clients to translate minimal information into complete system designs, and prepare proposals with accurate
Qualifications
- Experience estimating turnkey automation projects.
- Ability to articulate control system architecture from minimal input.
- Experience with PLC/HMI hardware & software.
- Familiar with NEC/NFPA-70E.
- Strong communication skills in English.
Responsibilities
- Consult with industrial clients to gather requirements and conceptualize control system architecture.
- Develop comprehensive estimates for turnkey integration solutions including engineering, panels, and commissioning.
- Review specifications and drawings to determine estimates for electrical projects.
- Identify modernization opportunities to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
- Prepare project takeoffs, submittals, and vendor quotes.
