Job summary

TEKsystems, contracted for a Richardson-based role, seeks a seasoned systems engineer specializing in Active Directory and identity management. You will design and maintain GPOs in AD aligned with DISA STIGs, and oversee identity lifecycles across classified systems while ensuring RBAC compliance.

With 5–7+ years of relevant experience, you will support user onboarding, monitoring, and troubleshooting, contributing to RMF and ATO efforts.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in systems engineering or administration focused on AD and identity management.
• Solid knowledge of Group Policy in enterprise environments.
• Experience managing identity lifecycle workflows (provisioning/deprovisioning).
• Familiarity with RBAC, delegation, and least-privilege access.
• AD health: replication, DNS, domain controllers.
• DISA STIGs applied to directory services and identity infrastructure.
• Active Top Secret security clearance; TS/SCI eligibility preferred.
• Microsoft certifications (MCSA/MCSE or equivalent) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain GPOs across Active Directory in line with DISA STIGs and security policies.
• Manage identity lifecycle workflows including user provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning across classified and unclassified systems.
• Execute user onboarding processes: account creation, role assignment, access provisioning, and RBAC documentation.
• Perform ongoing operational maintenance of AD: replication monitoring, DNS health, DC management, and schema updates.
• Support least-privilege enforcement through regular access reviews and RBAC-based audits.
• Assist engineers with trust configuration, ADFS operations, and identity federation maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory, GPO, and identity-related issues promptly.
• Support ATO documentation, RMF activities, and continuous monitoring with cybersecurity team.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation including GPO inventories and identity workflow diagrams.
