Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Systems Engagement Specialist to drive cross‑functional projects within the Charles A Dana Center. You will collaborate with Center teams to design and support initiatives that improve postsecondary mathematics pathways and workforce alignment.

This 40‑hour week role requires strong project management, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment; remote work is possible with travel, and start

Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in higher education mathematics, mathematics education, workforce development, or related field.
Experience with external partners such as state agencies, systems offices, postsecondary institutions, districts, or funders.
Experience working as part of a team, with strong collaboration skills.
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
Master’s degree preferred in education or policy (preferred)

Responsibilities

Support design and implementation of initiatives that strengthen postsecondary mathematics pathways and student support structures.
Coordinate and maintain relationships with external partners and funders.
Design and facilitate professional learning experiences that build capacity across networks.
Contribute to data collection, reporting, and project monitoring.
