First Choice Health Network Inc is seeking a Systems Administrator I to maintain and secure our AWS cloud environment, Windows and Linux servers, and SaaS/COTS apps. You will resolve helpdesk escalations, perform routine maintenance, and participate in an on-call rotation, working remotely with occasional in-office travel as needed.

You will collaborate with senior staff on larger changes, automate routine tasks with Python/PowerShell, and help ensure HIPAA-compliant security and reliable IT

Formación

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration or related field.
• 2-4 years of systems administration experience.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy.
• 2+ years of hands-on AWS administration experience.
• Scripting experience with Python and/or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls and TLS certificates.
• Experience with patching, endpoint security and backup in a business environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining technical issues to non-technical staff.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and maintain AWS environment, including compute, storage, networking, IAM, cost monitoring and security configuration.
• Administer Windows Server and Linux systems, including AD users/groups, DNS, GPO and IIS.
• Support cloud VDI and contact center environments, and remote desktop services.
• Manage SaaS and COTS applications: configuration, user access, upgrades, and vendor coordination.
• Perform light SQL Server administration: backups, restores, permissions and monitoring.
• Apply OS and application patches using RMM tools and verify system health afterward.
• Monitor system health, performance and capacity; respond to alerts and investigate incidents.
• Resolve escalated issues from the helpdesk and document fixes for first-line staff.
• Run and test backups/restores; support disaster recovery and failover procedures.
• Support security operations: respond to EDR alerts, remediate vulnerabilities and enforce least privilege.
• Help manage public website services: DNS, TLS, CDN, WAF and load balancing.
• Assist with network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, VPN) with senior staff.
