Job summary

Maximus seeks a System Test Engineer to provide subject matter expertise for our USAF mission. You will plan, develop test documents and procedures, and perform manual and automated testing across unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end levels.

This remote role requires TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly, 5 years of testing experience, 3 years with Jira, and hands-on RESTful and cloud testing. Travel 10–20% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• Bachelor's degree required (Master's may substitute for 2 years).
• 5 years of recent and relevant experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests to verify system operability and compliance.
• 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
• 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.
• Practical experience testing and analyzing RESTful interfaces and sending/receiving RESTful information.
• Practical experience testing in a cloud environment.

• Willingness to travel 10% to 20% of the time, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and requirement definition.
• Perform various types of manual and automated software testing including unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop test documents and procedures to guide testing activities.
• Conduct tests and document results, issues, and resolutions.
• Assist in planning and coordinating test activities across teams.
