Job summary

Ribbon Communications is seeking a remote Telecommunications Engineering Specialist to meet with customers, understand requirements, and produce detailed provisioning information and operation specifications. The role involves solution validation, risk assessment, and guiding deployments to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities include creating OCWs, coordinating with supply chain and deployment teams, and applying quality practices to engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications/Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Experience configuring telecom and data equipment in complex networks.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to understand desired solution and deliverables.
• Create an Order Capture Worksheet (OCW) with detailed provisioning information.
• Provide project support through services completion (engineering solution & budget).
• Identify and order required software via Ribbon tools and processes.
