Peraton is seeking a Remote System & Data Integration Specialist to support the FAA BNATCS contract. You will drive end-to-end data integration, layout development, and NAS-wide configuration across facilities, ensuring reliable data flows and interoperable interfaces.

This role requires 50–90% travel and remote work from within the contiguous United States. Collaborate with aviation engineers, data scientists, and field technicians to map requirements, validate interfaces, and deploy changes.

Peraton is seeking a System & Data Integration Specialist to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to support the endtoend integration of the EIDS operational environment. This role combines data mapping, layout development, systems understanding, and network awareness to ensure reliable, consistent, and accurate configuration across FAA facilities. The specialist must be able to interpret operational requirements, understand how data flows through the system, and configure layouts that align with facility needs and NASwide standards.

Work Location

• Remote work is permitted; candidates must reside within the contiguous United States.
• Must be able to travel 50-90% of the time to support deployments at CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations.

Core Responsibilities

• Support full EIDS System Integration across data, layouts, network components, and facility workflows
• Gather operational requirements directly from FAA facilities
• Build LDAs by mapping NDC fields to sitespecific operational needs
• Validate data accuracy, layout behavior, system interfaces, and interoperability.
• Deploy configurations and support iterative refinement across test and operational environments
• Document field mappings, layout decisions, template structures, system behaviors, and configuration changes
• Support system integration from hardware setup, logistics coordination, software configuration, and cutover activities
• Understanding of Interface Control Documents, engineering drawings, and technical baselines.
• Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues using standard Cisco diagnostic commands.
• Experience integrating communications equipment with enterprise networks.
• Experience supporting deployment and commissioning activities.
• Ability to troubleshoot common Linux operational issues.
• Verify implementation packages before deployment.
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ability to communicated technical issues to both engineering and management audiences.
• Analyze and resolve technical problems in a structured manner.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship Required
• Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree and 12 years' related experience or Master's degree and 10 years' experience or Associate's degree and 14 years' experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 16 years' experience
• Demonstrated experience with hardware and software deployment/installation in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience configuring, managing, and validating one or more of the following infrastructure technologies: Cisco, Dell, and/or HPE/Aruba.
• Experience analyzing end-to-end system functionality, validating architecture, tracing data flows, and troubleshooting interface issues across integrated systems.
• Hands-on experience supporting Linux-based systems and environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with FAA National Airspace System (NAS), E-IDS, or other mission-critical operational systems.
• Understanding of Air Traffic Control (ATC) operational workflows and time-critical information requirements.
• Knowledge of Local Data Administration (LDA), National Data Configuration (NDC), and operational display configuration.
• Systems integration experience supporting complex, multi-vendor network, communications, infrastructure, and software environments.
• Experience using vendor‑specific management interfaces such as Cisco Web GUI, Dell OpenManage, and HPE/Aruba Web Interface.
• Experience with interface configuration tools, layout editors, template management, and page builders.
• Knowledge of relational databases, schemas, data normalization, and data relationships.
• Experience troubleshooting operational data synchronization and interface inconsistencies.
• Understanding of human factors engineering and usability principles for operational displays.
• Experience supporting multi‑site deployments, site readiness assessments, and commissioning activities.
• Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle processes, configuration management, and change control.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
