Peraton is seeking a Facilities Tech Support to join our Telecom team in Central Service Area, Houston, TX. You will monitor, maintain, and optimize physical facilities, including generators, HVAC, racks, cabling, and site security to ensure near-perfect uptime for critical NAS infrastructure.

You’ll lead installation, testing, and maintenance of telecom equipment (switches, routers, fiber cabling) and oversee power systems, batteries, and DC power to support mission-critical operations.

Qualificações

• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• 8+ years of experience in facilities engineering/management.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required OR we can accept an additional 4 years of experience.
• Strong expertise in HVAC, power distribution, cabling standards, and building infrastructure.
• Experience reviewing technical designs and contractor work for compliance with standards.
• Knowledge of regulatory and safety frameworks for critical infrastructure.
• Background in physical security standards for facilities.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Power Systems Oversight: Maintain and troubleshoot critical DC power systems, rectifiers, and battery backups to support mission-critical operations.

Travel and Work Location Requirements:

This position requires 100% local travel to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) facilities within the assigned region. Candidates must reside in or near Houston, TX and be able to travel regularly to multiple FAA sites throughout their designated area as business needs require.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Details

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
