Job summary

Peraton is seeking a System & Data Integration Specialist to support the FAA NAS BNATCS program. You will lead end-to-end integration across data, layouts, network components, and facility workflows, ensuring reliable configuration in FAA facilities.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, building LDAs, validating interfaces, and deploying configurations across test and live environments while coordinating hardware, software, and cutover activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and related experience as listed in Basic Qualifications.
• Hands-on experience deploying and configuring hardware/software in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Cisco, Dell, and HPE/Aruba interfaces and management tools.

• Support full E-IDS System Integration across data, layouts, network components, and facility workflows.
• Gather operational requirements directly from FAA facilities.
• Build LDAs by mapping NDC fields to site-specific needs.
• Validate data accuracy, layout behavior, and system interfaces across NAS facilities.
• Deploy configurations and support iterative refinement across test and operational environments.
• Document field mappings, layout decisions, and configuration changes.
• Support system integration from hardware setup, logistics coordination, software configuration, and cutover activities.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues using standard Cisco diagnostic commands.

Job description

Basic Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship Required
• Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor’s degree and 12 years’ related experience or Master’s degree and 10 years’ experience or Associate’s degree and 14 years’ experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 16 years’ experience
• Demonstrated experience with hardware and software deployment/installation in enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience configuring, managing, and validating one or more of the following infrastructure technologies: Cisco, Dell, and/or HPE/Aruba.
• Experience analyzing end-to‑end system functionality, validating architecture, tracing data flows, and troubleshooting interface issues across integrated systems.
• Hands‑on experience supporting Linux‑based systems and environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with FAA National Airspace System (NAS), E-IDS, or other mission‑critical operational systems.
• Understanding of Air Traffic Control (ATC) operational workflows and time‑critical information requirements.
• Knowledge of Local Data Administration (LDA), National Data Configuration (NDC), and operational display configuration.
• Systems integration experience supporting complex, multi‑vendor network, communications, infrastructure, and software environments.
• Experience using vendor‑specific management interfaces such as Cisco Web GUI, Dell OpenManage, and HPE/Aruba Web Interface.
• Experience with interface configuration tools, layout editors, template management, and page builders.
• Knowledge of relational databases, schemas, data normalization, and data relationships.
• Experience troubleshooting operational data synchronization and interface inconsistencies.
• Understanding of human factors engineering and usability principles for operational displays.
• Experience supporting multi‑site deployments, site readiness assessments, and commissioning activities.
• Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle processes, configuration management, and change control.

Peraton is seeking anSystem & Data Integration Specialist to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to support the end‑to‑end integration of the E‑IDS operational environment. This role combines data mapping, layout development, systems understanding, and network awareness to ensure reliable, consistent, and accurate configuration across FAA facilities. The specialist must be able to interpret operational requirements, understand how data flows through the system, and configure layouts that align with facility needs and NAS‑wide standards.

Work Location:

• Remote work is permitted; candidates must reside within the contiguous United States.
• Must be able to travel 50-90% of the time to support deployments at CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations.
