Job summary

Clariant seeks a Syngas Sales Manager for the US & Canada to lead catalyst portfolio growth and manage the full sales cycle, including acquiring new clients and providing technical and commercial support. This remote role emphasizes market intelligence, customer relationships, and participation in industry events.

Ideal candidates will have technical chemistry expertise, strong commercial acumen, and excellent English communication skills.

Qualifications

Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
>5 years experience in a chemical industry.
>5 years of technical sales experience preferred.
Fluent in business English.
CRM/SAP knowledge is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Support order processing and maintain direct customer contact for all commercial and technical matters.
Maintain and grow business with existing customers through regular technical/commercial meetings and account management.
Acquire new customers by analyzing client technology and offering appropriate products.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts for resource planning.
Represent Clariant at industry events and provide on-site services such as training and troubleshooting.
