Qualifications

• 10+ years of employee benefits experience.
• 5+ years focused on retiree healthcare (Medicare Advantage, EGWP, Group Supplement).
• Ability to lead and develop sales and marketing teams.
• Deep understanding of labor unions and/or public sector benefits market.
• Strong carrier relationship management experience.
• Excellent communication and executive presence; able to represent the Amwins Benefits, Retiree Healthcare practice at senior leadership level.
• Experience in a carrier, TPA, broker/consultant, or benefits technology firm serving retirees.
• Familiarity with Medicare regulatory landscape (CMS, Part D, EGWP compliance).
• Existing relationships with union funds, public sector HR/benefits directors, or retiree benefits consultants.

Responsibilities

• Own the Retiree Healthcare P&L, including revenue growth, margin management, and financial reporting to division leadership.
• Set annual growth targets and operating plans, accountable for segment performance.
• Collaborate with Finance and GST on budgeting, forecasting, and business reporting.
• Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Retiree Healthcare and related segments.
• Monitor regulatory changes and market trends; translate into strategic adjustments.
• Represent Amwins Benefits at industry events, conferences, and with brokers and carriers.
