Job summary

Worldly is seeking a Sustainability Data Analyst who will partner with teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of sustainability data delivered to customers. You will work hands-on with large datasets, perform QA/UAT, and maintain complex assessment-defining files.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, curiosity, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams in a remote US-based position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or Data Science.
• 2+ years in analytical, data-focused, or consulting roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and ability to work with raw data.
• Understanding of environmental impact measurement or carbon accounting.
• Comfort with Python for data analysis (nice-to-have).

Responsibilities

• Work directly with large, complex sustainability datasets to support development and maintenance of Worldly’s impact content.
• Conduct QA and UAT for sustainability calculations, metrics, and content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Update and maintain complex assessment-defining files based on stakeholder specifications.
• Manage analytical content that controls and governs customer data exports.
• Investigate and resolve data issues by tracing outputs to source data and logic.
• Query Worldly data with SQL to support internal and external needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to align outputs.
• Continuously improve automation, documentation, and understanding of calculations and data structures.
• Conduct targeted research projects.
