Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience in insurance.
• 10 most recent years of Commercial Lines Compliance / Surplus Tax Filings experience.

Responsibilities

• Processing and payment of surplus lines taxes and stamping fees in all 50 states.
• Process daily, monthly, semi-annual, and annual state filings for all 50 states.
• Perform analysis and research of surplus lines requirements and interact with state departments of insurance and stamping offices.
• Generate tax and fee reports to ensure systems are updated.
• Coordinate with internal staff to ensure proper state tax identification and allocation.
• Ensure state requirements are adhered to by staff.
