Job summary

Springboard is launching an online Surgical Technician Career Training program and seeks a founding Live Instructor with TS-C prep experience. You will shape live-session content, pacing, learner engagement, and certification readiness for a first-of-its-kind program.

Qualifications

8+ years as Surgical Technician in an acute care hospital or surgical setting.
Current TS-C through NCCT or CST through NBSTSA, credential must be maintained.
Minimum 3 years teaching experience in Surgical Technology (training/precepting).
Minimum 2 years teaching in an online program.
Demonstrated ability to simplify complex surgical concepts for learners with little or no healthcare experience.
Deep knowledge of aseptic technique, sterile field maintenance, instrumentation, OR safety, and surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

Facilitate 90-minute live sessions weekly over 18 weeks for 20–30 students per session.
Lead sessions 2x weekly to accommodate multiple time zones.
Prepare independently for live sessions and update materials with Learning team.
Deliver demonstrations and walkthroughs of surgical concepts, workflows, and OR practices.
Lead TS-C certification review sessions aligned to NCCT objectives.
Collaborate with mentors to improve learner outcomes and certification readiness.
