Springboard is launching an online Surgical Technician Career Training program and seeks a Live Instructor to prepare students for the TS-C exam via NCCT. The instructor will be a founding partner, shaping live-session content and learner engagement from the ground up.

The role demands delivering weekly live sessions, collaborating on content design, and guiding certification readiness for adult learners transitioning into the healthcare field. Remote work in the United States is supported.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience working as a Surgical Technician in an acute care hospital or surgical setting.
• Current TS-C credential through NCCT or NBSTSA CST credential.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Surgical Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in an online program.
• Experience developing instructional materials or curriculum.
• Familiarity with online platforms (Canvas).
• Experience using interactive tools like Kahoot or Mentimeter.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly 90-minute live sessions across 18 weeks with groups of 20–30 students.
• Lead sessions 2x weekly to accommodate multiple time zones.
• Design engaging live instruction and certify readiness workshops.
• Prepare independently for each live session and respond to questions.
• Collaborate with mentors and instructional designers to improve outcomes.
