Job summary

Springboard is seeking experienced Surgical Technicians to serve as student mentors for a new 18-week TS-C focused program. Remote, part-time, 6–10 hours weekly, with 1:1 mentorship and exam preparation support.

You will reinforce surgical concepts, connect coursework to real OR practice, and coach learners toward certification readiness while collaborating with instructors and support teams.

Qualifications

• Active TS-C credential through NCCT is required.
• 3–5 years of Surgical Technician experience preferred.
• Experience in hospital OR setting is highly desirable.
• Experience mentoring or training learners is beneficial.
• Experience with online or hybrid learning environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet weekly with assigned students in 1:1 mentorship sessions (~30 minutes).
• Reinforce TS-C concepts and surgical workflows to learners.
• Help students connect coursework to operating room practice.
• Provide encouragement, study strategies, and progress coaching.
• Document mentorship sessions and student progress per program expectations.
