Responsibilities

• Audits procedural patient records in Cardiovascular and OR for charges and documentation.
• Reviews and verifies charges for OR/Cardiac Cath procedures.
• Evaluates charge discrepancies and provides solutions for accurate billing.
• Educates staff on charging/documentation updates and best practices.
• Updates charge master (CDM) charges as directed by guidelines.
• Processes purchase orders for implants and ensures documentation.
• Prices and releases manual charges for devices and procedures.
• Provides back-up support to charge entry and documentation processes.
