Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. is seeking a Manager of Support Operations to lead a fast-paced team delivering world-class monitoring and support for a diverse server and network infrastructure.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a track record in enterprise IT operations. You will drive process improvements, manage incidents, and ensure alignment with company SLA targets while coordinating with cross-functional DataBank teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience in IT or MSP environments.
• 10+ years in Information Technology.
• 2+ years supporting Web Services (Apache, IIS, NGINX).
• 5+ years administering Windows and/or Linux in enterprise settings.
• 5+ years networking knowledge: WAN, LAN, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience with VMware vCenter and Cloud Director required.
• Experience with backup/BC software such as Veeam, Commvault, Zerto or Actifio.
• Knowledge of load-balancing and traffic management technologies.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Support Operations Technical Engineers team.
• Develop strategy for focused support services.
• Ensure adherence to OLAs and SLAs and provide timely incident response.
• Create and evaluate weekly/monthly reports on response times and CSAT.
• Escalate between support tiers and other DataBank teams.
• Oversee OS patching, scheduled tasks, and decommissioning.
• Improve workflows and processes for continual improvements.
• Onboard/offboard personnel and provide career development for team.
