Job summary

RHI Magnesita is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Lead for its North American operations. This fully remote leadership role aligns demand, capacity, materials, and inventory across the network and partners with Operations, Procurement, and Commercial teams to deliver executable plans.

You will advance IBP, S&OP, and S&OE processes, drive planning improvements, and implement tools like o9 and SAP IBP. Remote with occasional travel to facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning or related field.
• Experience leading planning processes and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong expertise in: supply planning, capacity planning, MRP, inventory management, risk management, IBP/S&OP/S&OE.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for capacity modeling and KPI management.
• Proven ability to lead change and deliver results in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead supply planning activities supporting IBP, S&OP, and S&OE processes.
• Develop supply, inventory, and capacity scenarios for strategic decisions.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to create executable supply plans.
• Own short- and long-term capacity planning across NA manufacturing sites.
• Balance internal and external resources, manage constraints and bottlenecks.
• Identify opportunities to improve service levels, lead times, costs, and network performance.
• Oversee MRP processes and planning parameters for materials.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Operations to mitigate supply risks.
• Support sourcing initiatives to strengthen supply continuity.
• Execute inventory strategies balancing service and capital.
• Improve planning accuracy and execution performance.
• Reduce disruptions, premium freight, and obsolete inventory.
• Lead planning transformation and process improvements.
• Drive adoption of advanced planning tools (o9, SAP IBP, related tech).
• Use KPIs and scenario modeling to improve decision-making.
• Lead a distributed planning team across U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
• Serve as primary planning partner to Operations and Production Scheduling.
• Work with plant leadership to strengthen planning discipline.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
