Job summary

SRC, Inc. is seeking a Material Planner to plan, schedule, and coordinate material procurement for plant programs, supporting manufacturing and development. This remote role includes periodic visits to the Syracuse office to align with internal customers and project needs.

You will monitor inventory, initiate requisitions, and develop build plans using ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel. A B.S. in supply chain or related field with 2+ years of planning experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or manufacturing, plus 2+ years of planning or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate material procurement for raw material, components, and assemblies to support program plans and delivery schedules.
• Prepare, maintain, and present program status information to program management and others.
• Monitor inventory to prevent shortages and update material status.
• Initiate purchase requisitions, quotes, or material transfers as material requirements change.
• Assist in developing build plans and workflows to ensure schedules meet delivery parameters; coordinate with departments to minimize interruptions.
• Interface with departments to resolve planning issues; communicate effectively with management and teams.
• Utilize material trackers, dashboards, KPIs, and other tools to manage Material Planning.
