Job summary

Brooks Automation is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality performance, drive readiness for Brooks automation platforms, and ensure high-quality materials across the supply base. You will work with suppliers to strengthen quality systems, perform audits, and lead CAPA activities to protect production and customer commitments.

The role emphasizes RCCA/8D problem solving, data-driven improvements, and collaboration with design, manufacturing, sourcing, and operations teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/related field required.
• 5-15 years in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or similar roles.
• Experience with supplier audits, supplier development and CAPA processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, material specs, tolerances, and supplier documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier quality performance and continuous improvement for assigned suppliers.
• Drive supplier readiness to support Brooks platforms and customer commitments.
• Ensure FFFR for all supplier-delivered parts across Brooks locations.
• Use quality data and performance trends to identify risks and drive actions.
• Lead containment, recovery, and escalation with suppliers and internal teams.
