Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree required with related experience.
• 4 years of supplier quality experience.
• 2 years with 2-year technical/associate degree in electrical technology.
• 0-1 years with a 4-year bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of electrical procurement, vendor surveillance procedures and construction codes (IEEE, NEC, NFPA, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Be detail oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Travel up to 85% and occasional travel outside the USA.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderately complex QA/QC shop inspections and audits to ensure materials and equipment meet quality expectations.
• Assist in ensuring subcontracts meet Rosendin Procurement quality standards.
• Understand Rosendin electrical equipment and materials used in fabrication, testing and functionality.
• Analyze equipment specifications and drawings to provide feedback on supplier testing and inspections.
• Report manufacturing problems and help identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Communicate inspection/audit results and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist supplier prequalification by evaluating fabricator quality programs through audits/assessments.
• Support divisions/projects in overseeing fabricator and subcontractor quality as needed.
• Review NCRs and assist in developing corrective action plans with Quality Managers.
• Provide input on supplier quality performance and foster cross-functional relationships.
