Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Surveillance Engineer to support Procurement in supplier quality inspections and audits for electrical equipment and materials on high-profile projects.

This role requires extensive knowledge of electrical procurement, testing, and vendor surveillance, with travel up to 85% and potential international trips. You will read specifications, perform audits, report findings, and help implement corrective actions while ensuring subcontractor

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree and related experience as required.
• 4 years in professional supplier quality role.
• 2 years with 2-year degree or 0–1 year with bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderately complex quality assurance and quality control inspections and audits on materials and equipment.
• Assist in ensuring subcontracts meet Rosendin quality standards and customer expectations.
• Read and analyze equipment specifications, drawings, and provide feedback on testing and inspections.
• Report manufacturing problems and help identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Communicate inspection results, verbally and in writing, and propose corrective actions.
