Job summary

System One seeks a Supplier Procurement Engineer for EPC procurement oversight in a remote, long-term contract role. You will manage procurement performance, oversee cost and schedule, and coordinate technical reviews with EPC and Natrium teams.

Ideal candidates have 10–20 years of supplier oversight, an engineering degree, and experience with SOWs/RFPs, plus strong communication and contract-management skills. PMP is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, nuclear, systems, or civil engineering is required.
• 10-20 years' experience in supplier oversight is required.
• PMP certification preferred or equivalent training.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing oversight in fabrication or heavy industry is preferred.
• Experience defining supplier work scope with SOWs, RFPs and supplier project oversight.
• Strong ability to manage heavy industrial suppliers in design and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to support contractual/commercial aspects of customer/supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Act in a project management capacity for EPC procurement performance management and oversight.
• Apply project management tools to oversee EPC procurements with cost, schedule and submittal oversight.
• Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams to ensure fidelity to contract and technical direction.
• Review EPC specifications, bid packages, and bid assessments to protect interests.
• Oversee EPC procurement schedule to keep awards on track.
• Coordinate delivery and data deliverables with the contract administrator.
• Facilitate technical reviews by engaging Natrium resources and driving cross-team resolution.
• Support contract administration and commercial activities for project implementation.
• Manage technical deliverable submittal processes between EPC and Natrium teams.
• Maintain awareness of EPC capabilities and organizational changes to provide feedback.
