Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking a Supervising Psychiatrist to join our expanding team of mental health professionals in Georgia. This remote role focuses on clinical supervision of Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, conducted monthly via Zoom and in compliance with state laws.

You will supervise a minimum of 4 NPs, maintain timely communication during business hours, review charts, and stay current with Thriveworks policies. A GA license and BC/BE in Psychiatry are required.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Psychiatry required.
• Active and unrestricted GA licensure required (or eligible for compact licensing).
• Minimum 2 years supervising residents or mid-level clinicians.
• Willing to supervise at least 4 NPs.
• No malpractice payout, licensure disciplinary action, or criminal/professional investigations in last 5 years.
• Compact license or multi-state licensing ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote clinical supervision to employed Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners.
• Supervise at least 1 time/month per NP (20–30 minutes) via Thriveworks Zoom.
• Be available to answer questions via text/email during business hours, with same-day responses.
• Review charts/progress notes in accordance with state laws and governing bodies.
• Complete a short 1-page Google document after monthly supervision for each NP.
• Stay knowledgeable of company policies and program guidelines.
• Complete annual training as required by HR.
