Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking a Supervising Psychiatrist to join its growing remote supervision team in California. The role focuses on providing remote clinical supervision to Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Requirements include CA license, BC/BE in Psychiatry, and a minimum of two years supervising residents or mid-level clinicians. The position offers fully remote work with flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist with active CA license.
• Experience supervising residents or mid-level clinicians.
• Comfort with remote supervision and telemedicine tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote clinical supervision to employed Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (NPs).
• Conduct a minimum of one monthly supervision session (20–30 minutes) per NP via Zoom.
• Respond to NP inquiries during business hours by same-day response.
• Review charts and progress notes in line with state laws and policy.
